Carrot Apple Sauce

Carrot Apple Sauce

This is a yummy sauce that could be used on many things such as sweet potato fries, chicken, and anything you want to ask some zing too. I created this sauce because most sauce are high in sodium and yucky preservatives. That's not clean.

2 carrots
1 apple
1 tbsp of mustard
1 tsp of hot sauce
1/2 tsp of stevia
1 pinch of pepper

  1. Chop up carrots and apple
  2. Sprinkle with pepper and stevia
  3. Bake on 300 for 30min or until carrots are tender
  4. Allow it to cool off
  5. Add to blender with water until it reaches the consistency of a thick sauce(like barbecue sauce)
  6. Store in an airtight container

This sauce will not last for more than a week or so because it doesn't have all of the yuck preservatives that most sauces have, and you must store it in the fridge. This is what eating clean is all about.
