I just had to put this on my blog. So many people are sick, and they don't realize that it is what they are eating that is making them sick. Our bodies are made to heal itself, but we must give it what it needs to do so. Hot dogs are very affordable, and that is because they are full of crappy cheap scraps. We must do better.
Beloved, I pray that in all respects you may prosper and be in good health, just as your soul prospers. 3 John 1:2

Flour-less Mini Pancakes
These pancakes are so yummy, and they could be paired with fruit or toppings of your choice. I normally make a big batch for the week. Because they are so small, I'm able to eat them on the go. Someone bought me a Pie Pop Maker for Christmas, and that is why I am able to get such perfect round pancakes.

KALE!
I really like Kale. When you sauté it, it has a unique taste that is awesome. You can eat it raw or you can cook it. I have mine mixed here with sweet potatoes. Kale is full of iron, vitamin K and C, is anti-inflammatory, and it has Calcium. These little leaves pack power! I even throw them in my smoothies. I prefer Baby Kale. This little leaf and many other green veggies should be bought organic when possible. It's apart of the dirty dozen. I will talk about that in another post. But this Kale, is the bomb! Bon appetite!

Be Active: With My Little One
We are park hoppers. LOL. Any cool park within reach and we are there! This is my 7 year old man that helps me to stay active in so many ways. In the past I may have sat on the bench and watched him play. That's one reason why I have to be in shape and full of energy. For this little guy :). Fun mommy

Carrot Apple Sauce
Carrot Apple Sauce
This is a yummy sauce that could be used on many things such as sweet potato fries, chicken, and anything you want to ask some zing too. I created this sauce because most sauce are high in sodium and yucky preservatives. That's not clean.
2 carrots
1 apple
1 tbsp of mustard
1 tsp of hot sauce
1/2 tsp of stevia
1 pinch of pepper
- Chop up carrots and apple
- Sprinkle with pepper and stevia
- Bake on 300 for 30min or until carrots are tender
- Allow it to cool off
- Add to blender with water until it reaches the consistency of a thick sauce(like barbecue sauce)
- Store in an airtight container
This sauce will not last for more than a week or so because it doesn't have all of the yuck preservatives that most sauces have, and you must store it in the fridge. This is what eating clean is all about.
